“Under the pilot project we have a demonstration site at Foni Bulock West coast region where we provided a borehole, drip irrigation system and fenced the entire perimeter of a Women garden. The initiative proved to be a success and if you see a well equipped garden, just pay a visit to Bulock. The project is funded by the German government and we are engaging them to extend it to another 30 communities” was quoted saying during a meeting with women in the Kerewan Badala Village Upper River region of the Gambia.
