The overarching methodological framework to enhance the Feasibility Study includes the following components:
- Compilation of existing climate data leading to a better understanding of the past and current temperatures, relevant for land use and planning in the country
- Policy-based literature reviews – these will be used to establish baseline understandings related to the desk study and used to inform the further study work.
- In-country participatory Focus Group Discussions and Household Questionnaire Administration. These will be used to pose locally-relevant research questions and obtain information with the participation of local stakeholders and heads of households, and to help ascertain locally meaningful needs and guide suitable dissemination and outreach activities.
The Feasibility Study will be undertaken over a period of 24 months, and is divided into three phases:
